This SPAM originates in Serbia. Another Pump and Dump scheme for Pengram Gold Corporation. This time they spoofed (or hacked) an e-mail account at Georgia Cancer Specialists ( gacancer.com ). Bad news for GA Cancer, this can effect their spam score making them more likely to be blocked by filters in the future.

Here's another Pump and Dump caught by our SPAM filter.  This is coming from Hersheytel.net in Hershey Nebraska. It could be a hacked account, but 054pnys@hersheytel.net looks pretty random to me. It might be a spoof, it might be a hack, who cares, it's crap. 

Delete it. Don't respond.

Well, I just love this one. Spam From Friends got a Spam comment. Oddly, a guy like me doesn't allow comments without moderation, so... I guess I'll just have to post it! Who knows, maybe it was a gift from someone trying to help me out?

Sadly, there is a company called Sun Loan Company, so the scammers are playing off a real business and could probably more easily hurt someone because of it. I hate that.

Well now, how do we tell that this is a fake? Other than the fact that it is blatantly obvious. Clue #1; no legitimate finance company uses a GMAIL address. Doesn't happen. Clue #2; no grasp of the English language. "Thank you for your understanding and patronage remain bless."? Yea... Fake.

Delete it, don't reply, don't call. No good can come of it.

Domain Notification: - This is your Final Notice of Domain Listing - SIDSOLVE.NET

Here's a great old Domain Name SCAM Straight out of Manhattan! They attempt this via snail mail all the time too. They are trying to get us to change our domain registrar service to some unknown, bogus company. Or better yet, maybe just trying to steal some info and a credit card. I'm not going to bother finding out.

No surprise that this is coming from a Hotmail e-mail address either (domainserv435696@hotmail.com). Hotmail; the most hacked "free" e-mail service in the world. Well, OK, Yahoo is pretty bad too.

Just a tip, this can be avoided by paying a little extra for the "Domain Privacy Protection" feature most domain registrar's offer. Personally, I don't bother, but the choice is there; to every action there is a consequence.

So, I say again, delete the e-mail. Dump it, don't respond.
